Coffee Equipment Supplier Concordia Gets $6 Million Boost

Private equity firms recently invested $6 million in Concordia Coffee Systems, the Bellevue, Wash.-based coffee machine manufacturer that supplies clients including Starbucks, Seattle’s Best and Caribou Coffee.

According to a Puget Sound Business Journal report, the move will allow the 45-person company to expand, especially to international markets, where currently about 30 percent of its products are shipped.

“We’re just ready to be super aggressive about growing right now,” Concordia president David Isett told the paper.
