Five-year-old Santa Barba high-end retailer The French Press has signed a lease for a nearly 2,000-square-foot space in Goleta.

Radius Commercial Real Estate & Investments, which helped transact the deal for the former Bicycle Bob’s space at 250 Storke Road, says plans for the new space include an open retail layout, including patios. No opening date has been announced yet, but this would be the third retail location for The French Press.

Founded by Todd Stewart and Julia Mayer, who married two years into the business venture in 2011, The French Press began by showcasing coffees from other roasters at its two Santa Barbara locations before launching its own roasting wing, Castle Coffee Roasters, last year. It also maintains its own bakery to supply the scratch food menu.
