Leading exporters of Ecuadorian coffee and cocoa are hosting a new trade fair next month for global buyers. “Aromas de Ecuador” will take place Aug. 24-28 in the country’s second largest city, Guayaquil.
Coffee became Ecuador’s main export in the early 20th century. Positioned between Colombia and Peru, the country’s interior mountain ranges provide altitude, weather patterns and soil for quality coffee production.
