Israeli Coffee Chain Opens Cafe In New Jersey

Aroma Cafe, and Israel-based chain which has a Starbucks-like presence in its native country, has opened its fifth location in the United States, in Paramus, N.J.

The 2,500-square-foot cafe offers specialty coffee drinks, as well as a full menu of Mediterranean food. There are 110 Aroma Cafes in Israel — a country approximately the size of New Jersey — as well as eight locations in Canada and four other U.S. locations, including three in Manhattan.

The cafe boasts a commitment to European style drinks and drink preparation, including never using spoons to pour milk.
