Stumptown Coffee Roasters is moving its headquarters to a new Portland location this summer, and adding a second New York location.
According to a Portland Business Journal report, Stumptown will be moving into 37,ooo square feet of renovated space in two adjacent buildings on Portland’s S.E. Salmon St.
“We’re looking at a home for a long time,” Matt Lounsbury, Stumptown’s director of operations, told the paper. The company says it plans to hire some new office workers, but that it isn’t planning rapid growth.
Stumptown, which has approximately 200 employees, half of which are currently in Portland, currently operates three smaller facilities in the southeast part of the city.
