Popular R.I. Roaster Complements Operations by Opening Coffee Bar

New Harvest Coffee Roasters open new coffee barA popular Rhode Island coffee roastery has expanded its operations by opening a new coffee bar featuring handmade drinks and fresh-roasted beans.

New Harvest Coffee Roasters, which opened in Pawtucket in 2000 and has since been supplying roasted beans locally and nationally, is now offering a drink menu inside its Main St. building.

“We really needed a way to show what we have here,” Owner Rik Kleinfeldt told the Valley Breeze. “There aren’t a lot of options in this area.”

Kleinfeldt told the paper that the new coffee bar, in which highly trained baristas will make coffee and espresso drinks by hand, complements increased foot traffic in the area, as well as the coffee company’s recent engagements in hosting community events.
