Nashville's Roast Inc. Unveils bottled coffeeA Nashville, Tenn.-based coffee roastery has closed its cafe in order to focus more on catering and wholesale operations, and to introduce a bottled coffee product to the retail market.

According to a Nashville Scene report, Roast Inc. has adjusted its business model after developing relationships with four local Whole Foods markets, to which it supplies roasted beans. The family-owned coffee shop opened its second roasting facility in February, and just recently closed its flagship coffee shop, which opened in 2010.

Roast Inc. co-owner Lesa Wood told reporter Dana Kopp Franklin that the company is also rolling out cold-filtered bottled coffees — including a black coffee and a Vietnamese-style coffee with sweet cream — that will also be available at Whole Foods.
