Red Berry Coffee Bar Relocating to Los Altos

Red Berry in San Jose

A San Jose, Calif., coffee shop owner is planning on relocating his business to create a coffee bar in Los Altos.

According to a Los Altos Town Crier report, Jeff Hampton plans to open Red Berry Coffee Bar in a 1,500-square-foot space later this summer, offering beans from numerous Bay Area roasters and various drink preparation methods. He likens the operation to a wine bar.

“It’s a community that looks like it likes to spend time enjoying things,” Hampton told the Crier. “(Red Berry) is the perfect place for them to come in and see the variety of coffees, the different flavors and the different preparations.”

Hampton said he plans to carry beans from roasters including Barefoot Coffee (San Jose), Verve Coffee Roasters (Santa Cruz) and Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters (Redwood City).
