An Indian beverage company next month will begin roasting some 375 metric tons of coffee annually to supply Starbucks locations in India and overseas.
Tata Coffee Ltd. is a unit of Tata Global Beverages, which earlier this year signed an agreement to supply Starbucks with roasted coffee, according to a recent Wall Street Journal report. Located in the southern Indian state Karnataka, will reportedly cost $535,465.
Starbucks in January announced plans to open cafes throughout India beginning this summer.
