Baltimore to Get Yet Another Specialty Coffee Roaster

A former RN is spending $250,000 to create a 30-seat independent coffee house and roastery, TriBeCa, in Baltimore’s Midtown area, across the street from an existing Starbucks.

TriBeCa will join Lamill Coffee and Artifact Coffee among the latest additions to Baltimore’s specialty coffee roasting scene. According to a bmore report, Jean has signed a lease for a 1,300-square-foot space at 1210 N. Charles St. in a former beauty salon. Jean told bmore that he was drawn to the space due to the ample foot traffic from several nearby colleges.

Two years ago, Jean joined Vermont Artisan Coffee and Tea Co., where he took up coffee roasting.
