Italian coffee grinder manufacturer Anfim has announced plans for international expansion as a result of a partnership with Hemro AG, the Swiss Holding company that owns coffee grinder manufacturers Ditting and Mahlkönig.
Mario Monfrini, the owner and managing director of Milan-based Anfim Srl said in an an announcement that the company will join the worldwide sales and service network of the Hemro, adding that the partnership will result in a focus on emerging markets such as Asia, North and South America, Northern Europe and Russia. To support the expected growth, Monfrini said Anfim plans to expand its Milan factory.
“Combining the Italian espresso culture and experience with German and Swiss engineering skills will add great value to all members of the Hemro Group and will produce innovative grinding solutions,” Monfrini said.
“We are enthusiastic to introduce Anfim to our distributors and customers around the world. Anfim continues to be managed by the same team around Mario Monfrini and his wife Stefania and we are proud to have them as new members,” said Hemro CEO Nils Erichsen.
