After more than a year of expanding its online delivery and subscription services — featuring roasters first from Australia and now throughout the world — Singapore-based Cafebond.com has gone click-and-mortar, if you will.

The company, led by co-founding entrepreneurs CEO Keyis Ng and CTO Eugene Chen, has opened its first retail store on level 1 of the Millenia Walk mixed-use development in Singapore’s central business district.

The shop is like the world’s most ambitious multiroaster café from a roasted coffee sourcing perspective, yet without actually making coffee beverages. Cafebond.com is currently offering more than 20 coffees within the shop from roasters on numerous continents, featuring names such as Seven Seeds Coffee, Market Lane Coffee and Ona Coffee (Australia), Simple Kaffa (Taiwan), Fuglen (Japan location), and VCR Coffee and Cloud Catcher Coffee (Malaysia).

To give the cozy-sized retail space some energy beyond the promise of caffeine, Cafebond.com has partnered with Singapore-based Hipvan for curated interior touches and lifestyle products for sale, as well as with JBL for speakers.

The retail element also further promotes Cafebond.com’s core business of online ordering and shipping for individual purchases, individual subscription plans, office coffee wholesale plans, and cafe wholesale plans. Patrons with access to the physical shop will also be able to use the “Click and Collect” service, saving some money on shipping costs from the standard service, the company says.
