Chicago’s newest specialty coffee shop, Coffee Alley, opened last week in the heart of Little Italy, in a location that had been empty for six years.
Created by Bill and Sara Roberts, the Coffee Alley is serving a small menu of baked goods and pastries, as well as a range of coffee and espresso drinks, including coffees from Philadelphia-based La Colombe Torrefaction.
The shop is located in the south loop of Chicago at 1152 W Taylor Street. Here’s a description of the coffee shop from its owners:
The Coffee Alley, the special home away from home. THE COFFEE ALLEY is commited to serve the best Chicago coffee, in the traditional European style. We offer a relaxing, inviting athmosphere that will transport you to another era, bringing together a great choice of food, especial coffee and tea blends, along with great customer service
