Olympia Coffee Roasting Co. to Open Third Retail Cafe

Olympia Coffee Roasting Co., which was recently named by Roast Magazine as the micro Roaster of the Year, is planning to open a third retail location, in an historic Olympia, Wash., building.

The new cafe will be at 2824 Capitol Blvd., and Olympia plans to have it open early this year.

Here’s more, including an old photo of the new spot, straight from Olympia Coffee Roasting:

Built in 1938, the Wildwood Building is located at the connection of four Olympia neighborhoods: South Capitol, Wildwood, Governor Stevens, and Carlyon in Olympia, Washington.

Every coffee beverage will be ground and brewed per cup and per order by a skilled barista. In addition to espresso beverages, the menu will include hand-brewed, pour-over coffee and impeccably sourced and roasted whole bean coffees.

The new store will feature an open bar arrangement with wraparound bar seating for customer engagement. All equipment will expand Olympia Coffee Roasting Co.’s partnerships with state-of-the-art equipment manufacturers such as La Marzocco (espresso machines) and Marco (temperature controlled boilers). Locally-produced and sustainably-sourced materials will be featured throughout the café.
