UK-based coffee shop equipment provider and consultancy Beyond the Bean is using the 2013 Melbourne International Coffee Expo to announce the opening of an Australia office.
The Australia branch will be run by native Australians Kate and Jeremy Regan. Jeremy is a certified World Barista Championship judge who has spent the past 10 years running the Muffin Break retail coffee shop brand in the UK.
“We both wanted to stay within the coffee industry when we came home,” says Jeremy. “Coffee people really are passionate about what they do, which makes going to work that much more interesting. We’ve known the guys at BTB for years now and have always really loved what they do.”
With an office also in the United States, Beyond the Bean offers a range of food, drink and equipment products for coffee retailers, including Sweetbird-brand smoothies, syrups and sauces.
