Continental Terminals, one of the largest coffee storage and distribution companies in the United States, is expanding its facilities in Suffolk, Va.
The company — which stores, blends, roasts and distributes coffees for North American coffee giants such as J.M. Smucker, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Massimo Zanetti — is buying 3.7 additional acres in Suffolk’s Wilroy Industrial Park, where last year it invested $2.7 million to build and outfit a 70,000-square-foot storage facility.
Continental Terminals, founded in 1958, also has facilities in Chesapeake and Goose Creek, SC, with headquarters in Jersey City.
