D.C. Barista Scores Game-Winning Goal in Olympic Medal Game

Just as award-winning baristas take pride in their achievements, so too do medal-winning Olympians. The same holds true for an even smaller subset: Olympic-medal-winning baristas.

Swiss-born 24-year-old Jessica Lutz is a barista at Washington D.C.’s The Coffee Bar. She also just happens to have scored the winning goal for the Swiss team in the bronze medal women’s hockey game in Sochi yesterday. “I’m so proud,” Lutz told the Washington Post. “I am going to wear the bronze medal when I get back to work.”
