California-based flexible packaging manufacturer PBFY has opened a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Portland, Tenn., that the company says will provide significant delivery improvements for East Coast and Midwest customers.
“After careful review of feedback, PBFY listened to their East Coast customers that wanted lower costs and expedited shipping. By expanding into Tennessee, PBFY will be able to accomplish timely services, brand recognition, and product line growth,” the Orange County, Calif.-based company said in an announcement of the new facility.
PBFY offers dozens of packaging solutions for coffee companies, including various valve options for the degassing of roasted coffee. While silk screen printing is only available at the Brea, Calif., manufacturing headquarters, the company says both facilities will offer shipping and receiving, as well as hot stamp printing and valve processing.
Additionally, the company said the new facility allows for two- to three-day shipment timeframes for clients throughout the entire United States.

Hi Nick! I would like to contact PBFY about overseas deliveries. We are organic coffee growers in Honduras and until now the bags we use for the domestic market are made in India via a Colombian company. However, we are looking for more economical, less CO2 impact suppliers. I would appreciate your assistance.
