United States-based grocery chain Trader Joe’s has issued a voluntary recall of its “Instant Cold Brew Coffee” product.
In an announcement yesterday, the company said that the supplier of the instant cold brew, which was not named, alerted Trader Joe’s of the potential of glass in the product.
No injuries have been reported in association with the product, according to the company, and all affected products have been removed from sale.
The recalled products have a SKU of #67436 with expiration date codes of 6/13/2024, 11/26/2024 or 12/30/2024.
“If you purchased or received donations of any Instant Cold Brew Coffee with the aforementioned date codes, please do not use them,” the company said in its recall notice. “We urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.”
