Roast magazine is delighted to announce the inaugural Portland Coffee Festival (PCF), taking place on October 4, 2025, at The Redd on Salmon Street in Portland, Oregon.

This exciting event, sponsored by Pacific Foods, invites coffee lovers and industry professionals alike to immerse themselves in the vibrant coffee culture of the Pacific Northwest through interactive experiences, educational workshops, and community connections.

The Portland Coffee Festival will feature an array of activities designed to expand attendees’ coffee knowledge and appreciation. Highlights include coffee tastings, where guests can explore a variety of roasts, brewing methods, and specialty blends; roasting demonstrations showcasing the science and artistry behind coffee roasting; and food pairings with artisanal pastries, gourmet sandwiches, and savory snacks. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to meet the farmers and roasters who bring their favorite brews to life and learn about the journey of coffee from seed to cup.

The festival follows the highly anticipated Roast Summit, a two-day educational event taking place October 2-3, 2025. Sponsored by Diedrich Roasters, the summit will bring together coffee professionals for an immersive experience in the art and science of coffee and roasting. Attendees can look forward to insightful discussions, expert-led workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities with coffee industry leaders. More details on the event program will be announced soon.

“It’s an absolute honor to host the inaugural Portland Coffee Festival alongside our seventh year of Roast Summit,” said Connie Blumhardt, publisher of Roast magazine. “These events offer a unique platform for coffee professionals and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and celebrate the incredible craftsmanship and innovation within the specialty coffee industry. We’re grateful to our sponsors, Pacific Foods and Diedrich Roasters, for their support in making this vision a reality. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Portland for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.”

Registration for the Roast Summit is $195 USD, and tickets for the Portland Coffee Festival are $35 per person. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are also available, providing businesses with a chance to engage directly with the Pacific Northwest coffee community.
