The nonprofit Alliance for Coffee Excellence released a preliminary schedule of all its international Cup of Excellence (CoE) auctions for 2025.

The calendar includes 11 different CoE auctions in 11 different countries, beginning in mid-June 2025 and running through March 2026.

The calendar for the high-end green coffee auction program includes a number of long-running CoE participants from the Americas, beginning with Nicaragua (June 19), Mexico (June 24), Honduras (July 3), Costa Rica (July 8), Guatemala (July 15), El Salvador (July 24), Peru (Dec. 2) and Brazil (Dec. 9).

The calendar also notes CoE auctions from relative newcomers to the program, which attempts to build market connections between coffee producers and premium buyers through a rigorous green coffee competition process.

Thailand (July 29), Taiwan (Aug. 28) and Indonesia (March 24 and 25, 2026) are all on the CoE auction docket this year. Each of those producing countries held their first-ever CoE competitions within the past three years.

There are some notable absences from the schedule, including: Colombia, which annually participated in the CoE program from 2005 to 2023; Ethiopia, which hosted CoE competitions between 2020-2024; and Ecuador, which hosted CoE competitions for three years, last in 2023.

For all 2025 auctions, ACE has opened auction and sample set registration. Auction registration for ACE members is $25, with sample sets priced at $395 per set. Those prices jump to $250 and $850, respectively, for non-members.

ACE promoted the latest version of its 2025 schedule on Instagram.
