Two relatively new coffee (and chocolate) consumer events are returning to the East Coast in 2025, with the DMV and Pennsylvania Chocolate & Coffee Festivals.

Entering its fourth year, the DMV festival — serving the Washington D.C. area, including Maryland and Virginia — is taking place at the Dulles Expo Center on Nov. 15-16.

The Pennsylvania show, which made its debut last year, is taking place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 27-28.

According to Pathway Vendors, the three-year-old events and marketing firm behind the shows, the DMV festival attracted more than 12,000 guests last year, while the Pennsylvania festival brought in more than 9,000.

“We’re proud of how these events support small businesses,” Pathway Vendors Founders John and Lindsay Hill said in an announcement from the firm about the 2025 lineup. “It’s about more than foot traffic; it’s about creating a space where artisans and entrepreneurs can connect with thousands of customers who are genuinely excited to learn, taste and support what they do.”

Appealing to consumers of craft food and beverages, both shows feature more than 100 vendors, allowing for sampling and shopping. The events also feature “coffee education labs” led by coffee professionals, as well as chocolate-making demos, chef presentations and kid zones.
