An unnamed Berlin coffee roaster opened a recently arrived green coffee container from Brazil to find 33 kilos (approximately 73 pounds) of cocaine, according to a police report yesterday.
Seventy three pounds is the approximate weight of a healthy 10-year-old child. In the United States, that amount of cocaine has a street value somewhere in the ballpark of $1 million.
Police say employees at the coffee roasting company opened the container on Tuesday morning and immediately alerted officers. The container came from an also unnamed source in Brazil and was shipped to the capital city through the port city of Bremerhaven. Police have seized the contraband and are investigating.

I wonder if the cocaine were in Grainpro bags.
