A New Mexico coffee roaster evacuated some 34 people from his roastery and retail cafe last week as a fire broke out during roasting.
No one was injured and the retail location was almost immediately reopened, but Milagro Coffee y Espresso owner Bernie Digman told the Las Cruces Sun-News that this was the third roaster fire at the location, which he said reflects a “very low” incidence rate.
“You can hear it,” Digman told the paper. “It sounds like a jet engine taking off.”
Digman, a former firefighter, further told the paper that the equipment simply needed a good cleaning and that a $75 fan replacement would have the roastery up and running within a day.

How are there 3 fires and it is a very low incidence rate? That seems like a lot to me.
