Two Israeli designers have created a prototype for what they are calling the “Laboratory Espresso Machine,” which they say celebrates coffee with a “scientific aesthetic.”
The machine, made from reinforced glass and polymers with an aluminum frame, incorporates espresso capsules and relies upon the Venturi Effect and thermodynamics. The designers, David Budzik and Adi Schlesinger, say the idea is to allow the “average user” to be able to create a perfect single portion of espresso.
