Seattle’s Best today unveiled its new drive-through model with the simultaneous opening of 10 stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.
“It’s what we call ‘visiting Seattle, TX,’ ” Frank Sica, vice president and general manager for Seattle’s Best, said in a company announcement, “where the coffee flows fast, friendly and delicious.”
The stores feature the Starbucks-owned company’s new “dashboard-friendly” food menu, including cheap fast-food-style breakfast combos. Four more Dallas-area drive-throughs are expected to open later this summer. The company says it chose the market in part because of its sprawl that makes consumers more likely to drive to their food and drink spots. The new stores are designed to occupy less than 600 square feet.
