Part of a long-term goal to more than double its current footprint of 7,000 stores in the United States, Dunkin’ Donuts is currently recruiting franchisees throughout North Carolina. There are currently 44 Dunkin’ stores in the state, but the company hopes to expand its presence in markets including Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh-Durham, Wilmington and Winston-Salem.
The company is offering incentives to North Carolina franchisees — including reduced royalty fees for the first three years and expanded marketing budgets for stores that open on time — in order to make its distribution model work. Here’s more from the Massachusetts-based company:
