Since Brooke McDonnell and Helen Russell founded Equator in 1995, the high-end coffee roastery has grown to include dozens of well-known restaurant and grocery clients four states, with the majority of those in the San Francisco Bay Area. McDonnell came to roasting and importing after operating two retail espresso bars.
Equator is celebrating the grand opening of the new shop all this weekend with free coffee, family-friendly events and a tiki party this Saturday night, June 22. More info on the party can be found on Equator’s Facebook.
