Some new arrivals from Onassis
In fashion news, Ithaca, New York-based Gimme! Coffee, a 2013 Roast Magazine Roaster of the Year Award winner, has reached a deal to supply coffee to the flagship Soho location of Onassis Clothing. The high-end clothier, which added locations in San Francisco and Tokyo since opening in 2010, appeals to the “culturally conscious, quality-demanding gentleman.”
Onassis says the partnership was created to expand on the clothier’s “worldly identity,” and promote its “evolved men’s lifestyle brand with continual references to the jet set, a sense of history, bespoke detailing and elevated levels of craftsmanship.”
The Gimme!-supplied Onassis Cafe will offering numerous coffees, as well as a small menu of espresso-based drinks, all complimentary to shoppers. “Onassis believes in a full-service experience, one that is entirely sensory from touch to smell to taste,” the company said in an announcement of the deal.
