Stumptown Coffee Roasters yesterday officially opened its new Los Angeles retail bar and roastery, a 7,000-square-foot facility complete with a training lab and warehouse space.
As you can see from the photos (courtesy of Stumptown), the vast majority of the new space is devoted to the roastery, including a 60-kilo Probat roaster, while the star of the horizontally laid front bar is a La Marzocco Strada MP, with custom inscriptions reading “Stumptown Coffee Roasters” (back) and “City of Angels” (side).
The new facility is at 806 S Santa Fe Ave., in downtown Los Angeles, notably less than half a mile from the flagship facility of L.A.’s Handsome Coffee Roasters.
