The Pacific Coast Coffee Association (PCCA) will be having its 83rd Annual Convention will be held from September 18-20th 2014 at the Sunriver Resort located in Sunriver, Oregon.
Registration ends Friday August 29, 2014.
The program for the event will cover the timeliest topics affecting the coffee industry today:
• Mark W. Williams, Senior Vice President, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., will be speaking about the state of the economy and the world economic outlook.
• David Griswold, Founder and President, Sustainable Harvest, will be presenting on the current state of the effects of Roya in Central America.
• Maral Karagozian, Market Insights Manager, Farmer Brothers, will be presenting on consumer Drinking trends.
• Francisco Oriquio, Superintendent of the Coffee Growers Cooperative of Sao Sebastiao do Paraiso, will be talking about Brazil and current conditions in the market there.
“The PCCA Annual Convention varies from other industry events in that it facilitates an open dialogue, and allows people to build relationships — not just for business, but actual friendships,” says PCCA President Jose Ramirez. “The PCCA is more like a family. That’s the nature of the memberships, that’s the way we structure the event. It’s all about everyone being together and getting to know one another on a more personal level.”
