A new European trade show focused on the coffee and hospitality industries called CoHo Expo is scheduled to debut in Berlin, Germany, in 2024.

The CoHo Expo was developed by UK-based Coffee Ventures Europe (formerly known as Allegra Events), which is one of a numerous companies owned by the events production and market data conglomerate Allegra Group.

Coffee Ventures Europe produces existing coffee industry events such as the Amsterdam Coffee Festival, the New York Coffee Festival, the Coffee Masters barista competition series and the European Coffee Symposium (ECS). (Incidentally, the 2023 ECS is coming later this month to the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.)

Coming Nov. 11-13 to the Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin, the inaugural CoHo Expo will run alongside the ECS. The combined shows are being branded as ECS + CoHo Expo.

According to newly released marketing materials, the combined show is designed to attract visitors from throughout the coffee, foodservice and hospitality industries, including chain coffee shop operators, roasting companies, independent cafe operators, bakery chain operators, restaurant groups and more.

Coffee Ventures Europe, which is also active in design/build solutions for trade show exhibitors, said organizations wishing to reach those audiences can purchase CoHo Expo stand space beginning at €435 per square meter (approximately $466 per 10.7 square feet).

“Our paramount focus remains on fostering meaningful business connections at the highest level across the European cafe chain and hospitality market,” Ludovic Rossignol, the co-founder and chief organizer of the event, said in a welcome letter. “Our event model is designed to bypass the often-hefty costs associated with substantial stand builds and extensive team travel prevalent in today’s world of trade shows. Instead, we ensure that your investment is directed where it matters most — ‘meeting the right people, at the right time, in the right environment.'”

The Expo will take place alongside existing ECS events such as a one-on-one meeting program that includes pre-arranged 25-minute sessions, a seminar program called ECS Talks and the European Coffee Awards.
