Here Are the Newest 2024 World and US Coffee Champions

The world has two new coffee champions for 2024: World Brewers Cup Champion Martin Wölfl of Austria; and World Cup Tasters Champion Dionatan Almeida of Brazil.

Both champions were anointed over the weekend inside Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center during the annual expo of the Specialty Coffee Association, which drew in more than 17,000 coffee people over three days.

In addition to the world champions, the show resulted in three new United States coffee champions: U.S. Roasters Champion Eduardo Choza of Mayorga Coffee; U.S. Coffee In Good Spirits Champion Reynalyn Callejo of Olympia Coffee; and U.S. Latte Art Champion Joe Yang of Artly Coffee.

All three of the U.S. winners are moving on to compete for the world title this June at the World of Coffee trade show in Copenhagen, Denmark.
