Roast magazine has launched iRoast, a new professional community and premium subscription created to connect, recognize and support coffee roasting professionals around the world.

Built by Roast as a network for the roasting community, iRoast brings together coffee professionals to share knowledge, build relationships and continue developing their craft. The community provides access to exclusive educational resources, online programming, industry discussions and opportunities to engage with peers both online and in person.

“Roast has always been about supporting the people who make up the roasting community,” said Connie Blumhardt, publisher and founder of Roast magazine. “iRoast gives us an opportunity to take that mission a step further by creating a place where coffee professionals can connect with one another, share what they’re learning and help shape the future of the industry.”

iRoast members (iRoasters) receive one year of Roast magazine, with a choice of print or digital editions, along with access to a growing collection of community resources and programming. Benefits include exclusive white papers, practical templates and guides for roasteries; live webinars and an archive of past webinars; full online access to recorded Roast Summit sessions; and opportunities to participate in discussions with leaders in specialty coffee.

The community also includes a dedicated iRoast forum on Discord, providing a space for members to ask questions, share experiences and connect with fellow roasting professionals around the world. iRoasters can also participate in exclusive networking opportunities at Roast Summit and other Roast events.

As the community grows, iRoasters will have opportunities to contribute to Roast content, events and programming through surveys, panels, feature stories and other community-driven initiatives.

“Roast has spent over two decades creating resources and opportunities for people working in coffee roasting,” said Lily Kubota, editorial director of Roast. “iRoast builds on that foundation by creating more ways for roasters to learn from each other and be part of the conversation. We want it to be a community that reflects the people who are actually doing that work.”

iRoast subscriptions are available now at $80 per year for U.S. print subscribers, $100 for Canadian print subscribers, $120 for international print subscribers and $70 for the digital edition. Each subscription includes one year of Roast magazine.
