Australian coffee company Diva Coffee has created an aftermarket app that it says can adjust and control water and steam temperature to within one degree on most coffee makers.
The $199 app, known as the Touch PID, is designed to work with smartphones and tablet devices, with a mechanism attaching to the back of most coffee machines, the company says.
“If you run your life on a smartphone, it needs to know how you like your coffee,” says Jim Storey, owner of Diva Coffee.
