Los Angeles’ Cognoscenti Coffee, which had operated as a pop-up coffee bar that described itself as “mobile only to escape the inevitable demise from the local environmental health department,” has apparently passed a final health inspection and is opening a new permanent location today in Culver City.
The cafe occupies 400 square feet and, according to a Los Angeles Times report, will be serving coffee from roasters including San Francisco’s Ritual and Wrecking Ball, Durham, N.C.’s Counter Culture, and Calgary’s Phil and Sebastian.
The new coffee bar is located at 6114 Washington Blvd. in Culver City.
