Albany, N.Y.-based Tierra Coffee Roasters, which currently operates two cafes, is buying a third, the Ultraviolet Cafe. The cafe had been run for the past seven years by the adjoining Spectrum 8 Movie Theaters, according to a recent Albany Business Review story.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but shop manager Ron Grieco told the Review that the new cafe will likely be named Tierra Cafe, and that its menu is likely to resemble that found at the two shops Tierra currently operates.
Tierra Coffee Roasters is an offshoot of Tierra Farm, which specializes in a range of natural food products, including roasted nuts.
