Seattle-based Atlas Coffee Importers LLC
has announced the hire of Kim Giroir as a new senior trader.

Giroir began her coffee career as a green arabica buyer for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, and most recently worked at Starbucks Coffee Company as the senior manager responsible for green coffee quality and operations. She is also a certified Q grader. In her role at Atlas, Giroir will be primarily responsible for larger volume specialty trading, the company says.
Based in Seattle’s Crown Hill neighborhood and independently owned, 14-year-old Atlas serves hundreds of clients throughout North America from multiple U.S. warehouses.
