It seems only natural that Brooklyn-based Sixpoint Brewery — a group that constantly associates its beer with a hip, craft cultural movement — would join forces with a leading coffee roastery.
Sixpoint’s latest brew, 3 Beans, brings together Romano beans and cacao from New York’s Mast Brothers Chocolate. The third been in the equation comes from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, whose cold brew blend is added post-fermentation. Aged in American Oak, the result is a 10% ABV, 85 IBU beer described by the brewery as a “towering, all-sating dark ale.”
The beer is currently making its way through Sixpoint’s distribution networks.
