The Alliance for Coffee Excellence has announced that a live online auction for Brazil Early Harvest coffees in the Cup of Excellence program is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 27. The auction will be preceded by a series of cuppings throughout the United States.
Brazil is the only country to have two seasonal auctions in the Cup of Excellence program, in which a panel of international judges leads a rigorous months-long tasting and scoring program for coffees from some of the world’s best micro-lots. Leading up to the online auction, several importers from coast to coast will be hosting cuppings from this year’s early harvest winners. Here are some scheduled cuppings (contact individual importers for event and RSVP information):
