In collaboration with local chef Andrew Burke (Hawker Stall), Green soft-launched the Scout & Company bar this week with coffees from George Howell, Blue Bottle, Coava and Heart. The shop is located at 237 North Ave. in the Packard Lofts apartment building. Atop the reclaimed wood bar is a Strada espresso machine with multiple Mazzer grinders.
Primarily a coffee and espresso bar, the business will also have a heavy emphasis on ice cream when the food program rolls out in full later this Spring. Baked goods are currently coming from Misery Loves Company Bakeshop in Winooski.
