A young deer running at full tilt through downtown Kingston in Upstate New York ended his urban adventure by busting through the glass door of a popular local coffee shop, Hudson Coffee Traders.
According to a Herald-Record report, the deer remained at the back of the shop until an animal rescue team arrived with police to return the unharmed animal to the wild. The shop was open for business at the time, but no one was hurt. “Venison Stew for a lunch special?” the Hudson Coffee Traders team joked on Facebook. “All kidding aside, the deer was safely removed alive from the shop and no one inside was hurt, so all’s well that ends well.”
