Prominent Texas Hill Country roaster Cuvée Coffee is putting the final touches on its first full-fledged brick-and-mortar shop, which is expected to open at 2000 E. 6th Street in Austin on Monday, Aug. 11.
Cuvée has had a short stint inside the Salt & Time Butcher Shop, but the roaster has mostly been known through its wholesale accounts in 13 states and its strong presence in cafes, restaurants and grocery stores.
Cuvée says the new bar will offer “traditional espresso beverages” and pour-over coffees, and it will include 12 taps, nine for craft beer, two for wine and one reserved for Black & Blue, Cuvée’s ‘nitrogenated’ cold coffee. The bar will also have pastries from Walton’s Fancy and Staple, as well as meat and cheese plates from Antonelli’s Cheese Shop in the evening.
