Say Hello to the 2019 US Coffee Competition Champs

The U.S. Coffee Championships took place this past weekend in Kansas City, Missouri, bringing hundreds of spirited specialty coffee professionals together to show off their skills and experimental approaches in brewing, tasting, roasting, booze-and-coffee mixing and barista-ing.

All competitors reached Kansas City through preliminary rounds locally and regionally, plus two main qualifying events that took place earlier this year in Denver and Nashville, respectively. Winners in each competition will be moving on to represent the United States in world championships being held in either Boston or Berlin, Germany, that will feature champions from 65 countries.
