Swiss super-automatic espresso machine specialist Eversys has launched a UK division called Eversys UK.
The move caps a busy 16 months for the company, after it opened a new global headquarters and showroom, opened a factory for production of the Cameo model in its home base of Ardon, and opened an office in New York to complement an existing office in Toronto.
According to Eversys, the stronger presence in the UK — including offices and a showroom near London’s Gatwick airport — will improve its existing partnership with UK and Ireland coffee equipment service company Evertec, while also providing dedicated UK and Ireland sales and technical teams.
In an announcement of the office opening, the company also cited the looming uncertainty of Brexit as a motivating factor for beefing up its in-country customer support operations.
Said Eversys Chief Operating Officer Kamal Bengougam, “With the increase in demand for our range of innovative equipment solutions, and with the continuing growth in corporate clients requesting a direct relationship with manufacturers, it is now the perfect time for Eversys to invest in the dynamic UK and Irish markets.”
