The new year will see some leadership changes at global coffee pod giant Nespresso, with current Nespresso USA President Guillaume Le Cunff succeeding Jean-Marc Duvoisin as Chief Executive Officer at Nestlé Nespresso S.A.
Duvoisin has worked in some capacity for Nestlé for more than 30 years, eventually becoming the deputy vice president of human resources for Nestlé S.A. before occupying the Nespresso CEO role in 2013. He will continue on as senior vice president of strategic business partnerships, joint ventures and brand licensing.
“Under Jean-Marc Duvoisin’s leadership, Nespresso has continued to grow at a very solid pace despite significantly increased competitive intensity,” Nestlé said in an announcement of the leadership change. “He was the driving force behind the successful launch of the Vertuo system, the opening of our Romont factory, as well as entries into many new markets and fast expansion in existing markets in the Americas and Asia.”
Duvoisin also helped drive Nespresso’s sustainability program by overseeing the launch of the “Reviving Origins” coffee series, featuring an investment in specific growing regions that have struggled due to war, infrastructure losses, political conflict or other issues. The most recent example in the series came from Puerto Rico following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Le Cunff comes to the CEO position having been an outspoken advocate for the company’s sustainability agenda in recent years. He first joined Nestlé in 1998 before joining Nespresso in 2007 and eventually assuming the Nespresso USA president role in 2015.

I’ve tried relentlessly to get my machine replaced. It can only froth milk 1-2 times before clogging. When I call it’s useless. I’ve written a letter – no response. Please help me before I am forced to go to social media. Please.
I have had 2 of these Nespresso machines & both of them have quit working the same day. The 1st. one i called the number they give you for service & they are all east Indians answering the phone & one has a hard time understanding them. They told me it would take 48 hrs. to e-mail a RETURN SLIP to me. I asked them why so long when AMAZON does it in 10 minutes but got no answer. On this second machine i have spoken to 3 different people again & they keep telling me that it will take 48 hrs. for them to e-mail a Return label. So once again I wait another 2 days. This has been going on for over a week now. This is totally the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encountered. I wonder how many other people have had problems with them.
