Nationwide facilities management company Vixxo Facility Solutions has launched Vixxo Café Solutions, a coffee-focused service for equipment repair and maintenance for cafe owners and operators.

The platform also onboards and connects independent technicians and service companies with customers seeking repairs.

The new offering is debuting in the Dallas, Phoenix and Denver markets and will expand from there, targeting independent cafes, multi-unit franchisees and regional operators that lack internal facilities teams or dedicated equipment-service partners, according to the company. Coffee roasting and production equipment is not currently supported.

“We have spent years learning how to run coffee service at scale,” Vixxo Facility Solutions Chief Commercial Development Officer Keith Nedell told Daily Coffee News. “We see a real need in the mid-market.”

Vixxo Tech in the Field

Vixxo’s Café Solutions platform includes an app powered by its VixxoNow system that supports both the customer experience and technician/provider workflow, working with customer-supplied information as well as IoT and sensor data

The app is designed to make it easier for operators and technicians to connect, access information and source parts, whether for routine maintenance or emergency repairs.

“It is an AI-enabled platform that helps track activity throughout the repair process and supports technicians with diagnosis, repair guidance and service documentation,” Nedell said. “For technicians and providers, the platform helps improve efficiency and consistency. For customers, it creates a clearer service history for the asset and supports better visibility into repair activity and maintenance spend over time.”

In addition to faster intake and triage for broken equipment, Nedell said the system supports self-help and guided troubleshooting for smaller operators so that “not every issue requires an expensive truck roll.”

Founded in 1980 in Arizona, Vixxo Facility Solutions has decades of facilities management experience serving restaurant, retail and hospitality clients nationally. The company says it has more than 250 technicians trained internally on espresso machines, brewers, grinders, ice makers, water filtration and cold beverage systems, with additional manufacturer-sponsored training and certification where required.

The company says it has OEM relationships with more than 30 brands across the coffee equipment sector, including La Marzocco, Eversys, Rancilio, Nuova Simonelli, Bunn, Curtis, Fetco, Cimbali, Mazzer, Pentair and others.

“When it comes to coffee equipment service, we are not experimenting,” Nedell said. “We are bringing enterprise-grade capability to a market that has been underserved.”

Nedell said Vixxo Café Solutions relies primarily on Vixxo-employed technicians, with a goal of handling about 80% of work in the three launch cities internally, while also using third-party service partners for additional coverage, capacity or specialized support.

Onboarding for third-party providers includes verifying licensure, insurance and equipment certifications. Providers also set their service area radius and coordinate fees with Vixxo for each job.

Dallas, Phoenix and Denver were chosen for the rollout because Vixxo has offices and training capacity in Dallas and Phoenix, plus longstanding clients in all three markets.

“We already have customers asking for multi-metro coverage. The platform shows us where volume is real,” Nedell said. “Early indicators for the next phase include Southern California, the Philadelphia/New Jersey corridor and Houston, all leveraging the same playbook: build where relationships and demand already exist, learn fast and execute flawlessly.”
