During a one-week fundraiser for victims most affected by the Boston Marathon bombings, Dunkin’ Donuts patrons donated more than $467,000 to The One Fund Boston. More than 2,000 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Upstate New York and Maine participated in the fundraiser.

“We are grateful to our franchisees, employees and guests who came together to support The One Fund Boston,” Nigel Travis, CEO of Dunkin’ Brands, said in a company announcement. “Our thoughts continue to be with all those who were affected by the heartbreaking events that occurred on April 15. Our hope is that these contributions will help the families who lost loved ones and assist those who were seriously injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.”
