Highly regarded Denver roastery Novo Coffee is back in the retail game with the opening of a new coffee bar at 1600 Glenarm Place. Novo also plans to open another coffee bar near the city’s Sixth Avenue and Gilpin St. later this summer.
The company has maintained its roastery and cupping lab at 3008 Larimer St. in Denver, despite closing its lone retail spot inside the Denver Art Museum two years ago, selling beans online and supplying numerous shops and restaurants in the region. Novo’s Wadsworth Boulevard location was included by Bon Appetit magazine in 2010 list of the “Top 10 Boutique Coffee Shops” in the United States.
Denver Westword has posted a photo gallery of the new Novo spot, with some great shots by Danielle Lirette.
