30-year-old Portland roastery K&F Coffee Roasters has undergone a brand refresh, unveiling new retail packaging and consolidating its coffees under the K&F name.
The new-look packaging includes a K&F logo that was redesigned earlier this year to reflect the company’s hand-drawn vintage white-on-black-background logo, as well as the image of a coffee cup with three whisps of steam designed to recall the company’s tagline, “Three Generations in Every Cup.” As part of the brand update, K&F has also unified the look of its conventional and organic coffees with the new packaging.
Founded by Don Dominguez and his coffee industry veteran father Bud in 1983, K&F currently operates its 20-year-old retail bar on Clinton Street on Portland’s East side, while maintaining wholesale accounts to other coffee shops, hotels and restaurants. It also operates a private-label operation, as well as a distribution operation that includes TazArriba Mexican Spiced Cocoa, Torani syrups, teas and smoothie mixes.

I have been drinking your Coffee at a coffee shack in Salem for yrs. Yesterday I finally ask them what the brand was …. she shows me a large bag of K&F “Private-Reserve” . Where can I purchase your Coffee beans, when I am home in Bend, Ore. ?
Thank you, Tom Denall
Thank you for asking. We really appreciate your loyalty to the brand we work so hard to promote and share with the local communities of Oregon. Please shop online at kandfcoffee.com. I highly recommend our Cafe Jondo, which was nominated as the best cup of coffee in Oregon in 2018. Mention my name for a discount.
Thank you,
